The founder of the Gem Powerment Language School (GEM), Dr. George Roos, is a trained Filipino nurse and doctor who studied medicine in Germany and has worked in Germany and Switzerland. Dr. George Roos is the main tutor and also a TELC licensed B2 examiner for both German in general and specific German for nursing. The other language tutors are Ms. Eva Eichmeier, a licensed pharmacist, and Ms. Christine Schneider, a Swiss who lived as a Christian missionary in Manila’s slums for over ten years.
The GEM School has 6 branches in the Philippines and has been successfully active in this field since 2008 and has already supported over 350 nursing professionals up to B2 who work as nurses in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
